About

Shervin joined F-Prime Capital in 2012 to help start their technology fund. He focuses on investments in start-ups that are building products for technical, scientific and creative communities (‘Maker Tools’). In recent years, this has included start-ups helping Scientists (e.g., Benchling, BenchSci) and Software Developers (e.g., ReadMe, Codeship acquired by CloudBees, Percy acquired by BrowserStack).

He began his career in venture capital with Polaris Venture Partners, and has held operating roles at The Atlantic and various MIT spin-outs/ start-ups. He has also worked for McKinsey and Company in both their US and Middle East offices. Shervin was born and raised in London, England and has undergraduate and masters degrees in Engineering from both the University of Cambridge and MIT.
